Role Purpose

The Project Coordinator will provide support to Start-up Managers across multiple locations to strengthen project capabilities. He/She will support the Director of PI&I to manage cross organizational project implementation including system mapping and deploying of best practices in Start-up.




Project Management

  • Has strong project management experience
  • MS Project or equivalent project management tool

Business Partnering and Communication

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership with an ability to explain complicated challenges to different areas of the business

IT Skills, Data orientated

  • Strong computer skills (ERP, financial planning tool, business intelligence tool)
  • Ability to work with large quantities of data.


Knowledge and Experience


  • High school diploma, college degree preferred
  • Zero (3) to Three (5) + years of project experience
  • Familiar with public transportation or another public sector
  • Ability to interpret and explain regulations to others
  • Knowledge & Experience of Microsoft Office applications (expert level)
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English;
  • Must be able and willing to work flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Conducting oral presentations, relaying technical information in understandable terms


Project Management (0.75)


  • Support the design and implementation of the KTA Project Management System (PMS)
  • Using the KTA PMS, create project brief, coordinate and monitor project delivery. In particular:
  • Define, deploy and monitor project schedule
  • Manage the follow up of the project budget
  • Define, deploy and monitor risk register, action list, and other registers as necessary within specific projects
  • When more than one project are taking place, actively coordinate the governance of projects to ensure clarity of reporting internally and to external stakeholders
  • Support in the management relationships with subcontractors or consultants 
  • Identification of problems at early stage and escalation when required


Coordination (0.25)


  • Support Director of PI&I to coordinate a team of multidisciplinary Vice Presidents and General Managers, ensure that adequate cross-function and cross-division interfaces are working
  • Support Director of PI&I to plan, develop, implement and manage activities for start-ups, integrated management system deployment, process improvements, contractual compliance and risks management
  • Search for information, work with large data base and provide analytical skills to extract relevant information, fueling the work of the team
  • Benchmark within and outside Keolis, project management best practices and implement them when relevant


Process Improvement


  • Coordinate, and in some instances, conduct the IMS audits
  • Support the Director Process Improvement and Integration in driving continuous improvement through process improvements, enabling KTA to embed a systemic approach to process improvement.
  • Monitor the contribution of the IMS to KTA’s performance, linking process improvement to process and performance KPIs improvements.
