Role Purpose

Under supervision of the Manager, provides customer service to clients.

 

Core Competencies / Responsibilities

 

  • Take client reservations.
  • Handle all referrals and inputs reservations in the computer.
  • Accurately input reservations into system so that manifests can be developed.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required.
  • May assist with Dispatching duties and Verification as needed.
  • Effectively communicate to customers.
  • To use windows based applications.
  • Work independently.
  • To work in a fast paced call center environment.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including Weekends and Holidays.
  • Other duties may be assigned

 

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Must be able to sit, including talking for 7 hours a day.
  • Must be able to talk on the phone for same length of time.
  • Must be able to operate a computer.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to customers.
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent such as GED
  • One-year experience in a call center environment.
  • Experience in various computer software programs and experience using Windows based applications.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

 

Additional Statements

Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. If applying for a safety sensitive position, it may require a physical examination.
