Role Purpose

The Reservations Agent is responsible for accepting trip reservations from eligible passengers collecting all necessary data required to schedule trips accordingly. They will make certain that phone calls are answered promptly and hold times are kept to a minimum. They will also make sure that the passenger database is maintained accurately and new entries are complete and accurate.

 

Core Competencies / Responsibilities

 

  • Respond to incoming calls for SCAT reservations within a 2-minute maximum hold time.
  • Responsible for verifying passenger eligibility, processing trip requests, modifying existing reservations and cancelling future trips utilizing the Trapeze Pass Scheduling Software Application.
  • Communicate effectively with Dispatch & Supervisor(s).
  • Critical thinking & problem solving to help client’s complete reservations.
  • Perform trip revisions.
  • Provide general information and customer service feedback.
  • Accurately complete all reports; Strict adherence to Keolis and client policies and procedures.
  • Ensure Outstanding Customer Service is provided to SCAT clients
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Previous clerical, data entry, customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Computer Literate using a Windows-based computer operating systems.
  • Knowledge of the service area.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels.
  • Able to use multi-line phone system.

Additional Statements

Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. If applying for a safety sensitive position, it may require a physical examination.
