Role Title

Financial Analyst, Corporate




Role purpose

Owns the Reporting stream and the FP&A function for all transversal activity of the company. Leads the company’s financial reporting to managers inside the organization and outside to the Keolis group, while gathering the contribution to other provider at KTA.  Responsible for insuring the accuracy of the forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. The Corporate Financial Planner & Analyst provides analysis and support to the members of the management team in helping to follow and optimize the management of their own budgets. In charge of insuring consistency in all financial data provided internally and externally.

Knowledge and Experience


  • BS degree in Finance
  • At least 3-year experience in a similar position
  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting in a complex multisite business
  • Experience in multi-unit organization
  • Business performance orientated


Key Accountabilities


Produce and ensure consistency of all reports towards the management of the company and the Keolis Group

  • Coordinate the monthly financial review meetings
  • Create, and in some instances, support the creation of the monthly pack, enabling a monthly deep dive into KTA financial performance
  • Produce the financial analysis with reporting packages, monthly, quarterly, annually
  • Produce analysis with reporting packages, monthly, quarterly, annually
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Work with a Business Intelligence tool and dashboard reports
  • Provide Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis

Monitor Performance with data-driven analysis

  • Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies. Follows up performance actions plans within the organization
  • Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
  • Support senior management team and departments heads with in-depth analysis
  • Take accountability of the planning and budgeting cycle of the company
  • Create and document the annual budget process (timeline, templates and tool), in line with the KTA business planning process
  • Communicate, implement and monitor compliance to the annual budget process
  • Coordinate the regular reforecast of the budget, enabling improved visibility on future financial performance
  • Support the CFO in communicating financial forecast to the KNA platform and Keolis Shareholders
  • Provide in depth analysis of variations to budget and forecasting, enabling deeper understanding of our financial variables
  • Support each location in designing and implementing action plan to support delivery of their budget
  • Create and maintain the budget pack (presentation and supporting files) to assist communication of the budget and the regular reforecast.
  • Support KTA and KNA leadership in making data driven tactical and strategic decisions through a fit for purpose financial planning process.
