Role purpose

The On-Site Maintenance Director will be responsible for managing all bus and facility maintenance activities associated with this project.

 

Skills

 

  • Ensure strict adherence to all Keolis and client safety regulations
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Maintenance Department
  • Compliance with federal, state and local regulations
  • Adhere to the Keolis Quality Assurance policies and procedures
  • Adhere to the client’s maintenance standards
  • Establish preventative maintenance schedules
  • Develop annual budget
  • Monitor compliance of monthly and annual financial targets
  • Leadership of positive employee and labor relations.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills

 

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • 10 years managing the maintenance functions of a heavy duty transit shop with 35’ to 60’ coaches.
  • 5 years of management of a CNG shop
  • Budgeting
  • Union experience
  • Facility maintenance
  • Spare parts inventory
  • Mechanic scheduling
  • Quality control
  • High level decision making
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School required
  • Mechanical and ASE Certification

 

Key Accountabilities

Business Planning

 

  • Hiring of all mechanics and shop personnel
  • Ensure training and development for all mechanics and shop personnel
  • Properly budget for inventory and supplies
  • Work closely with operations teams to coordinate maintenance activity
  • High level decision making

 

Performance Framework

 

  • Scheduling of all shop personnel
  • Scheduling of all maintenance/shop activity
  • Assign unscheduled and scheduled maintenance
  • Provide accurate recordkeeping through MMS
  • Perform and assign facility maintenance activity as necessary
  • Provide Quality Assurance and Control Protocol

 

 

Additional Statements

Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. If applying for a safety sensitive position, it may require a physical examination.
